The history of Aighis goes back to more than 12 years, when Adilson Jorge Silvestre, Brazilian, and Kimon Patkas, Greek-Canadian, crossed paths. In 2009 Adilson, as President of the Business Association of Imbituba (ACIM) received Kimon, as Founder/President of the Hellenic-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (Greece – Brazil).

 Years later, friendship and cooperation grew stronger. To narrate the origin of Aighis, it is imperative to talk about the actions delegated and contracted by the two parties, which contributed to the development of the actions that lead to the birth of the company. Therefore, the facts narrated below lead to the construction and consolidation of the company.

 It was in 2013 that a European delegation for development in the Port of Imbituba signed an institutional cooperation agreement. The agenda included an international cooperation protocol between Greece (Europe) and Santa Catarina (Brazil).

 Years later, in 2018, Saw’X Madeiras da South America Eireli was founded, a company owned by Adilson Jorge Silvestre dedicated to exporting wood. The enterprise, despite being successful, did not reach the goals initially planned. That same year, in August, a navigation delegation (offshore tug services; coastal shipping container line; chartering of bulk carriers) visited Imbituba to support the operations for exports.

 In March of 2019, a commercial partnership was signed with a financial company of the Macau Fund together with a cooperation protocol for the development of a Navigation Fleet between Brazil Greece and China, through Portuguese-speaking African countries.

 In May 2019, a technical cooperation agreement was presented to the Government of Thessaly (Greece) for the development of the industrial area of ​​the Port of Volos.

 In October 2019, a technical cooperation for the development of the Port of Imbituba SPA was signed with SCPar.

 In November 2019, Aighis LTDA was formalized with 4 partner and the company was officialized in January 2020. 
In March 2020, the commercial partnership and representation of RHI (Royal House of Investments) was signed, with the purpose of investing in the infrastructure, health and international trade sectors.

 In October 2020, the commercial partnership and representation of Arshine MP Resources PTY (South Africa) was formalized, with the purpose of supplying fertilizers and fuels of Russian origin.
The unfortunate hardship of the pandemic forced a new corporate restructuring and two of the partners exited from the company´s capítal.

 In March 2021, the commercial partnership and representation of IGSL was signed for the purpose of, commercial financing and international trade.

 In May 2021, the commercial partnership and representation of Bessco Gen Trading was formalized for the purpose of supplying fertilizers, inputs, seeds and petroleum residue cleaning products.

 In October 2021, the partnership agreement of LRX GUERRAS was signed for the financial security and operational agility for all the current activities of the company as well as development of new business.

 In November 2021, the Shipping partnership with DIKOM is formed for the chartering of the vessels necessary for the execution of the international contracts of the company.

 Currently, the corporate structure is composed of Adilson Jorge Silvestre and Kimon Patkas, with strong synergy for the success of their socio-economic objectives. Aighis' commercial activity in this new phase is executing contracts for the exportation of agricultiral commodities, mainly soy/corn and animal protein (chicken parts) – the importation of fertilizers mainly Urea among Trading in general and commercial representation.
